Women's MTB Skills and Nutrition Day
Looking to improve your mountain biking skills for the season and wondering what foods will help you? Then, please join Wendy Wilson, OCA qualified MTB coach, and Sandra Crowe, RHN Nutritionist and Cyclist for an informative day!
9:30 - 10:00 Welcome and bike checks
10:00 - 12:00 Basic biking fundamentals; presented and practiced
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch (bring your own); Sandra will teach you what to eat before, during and after your ride. Learn how to avoid running out of energy on your ride and what foods help your muscles and joints recover faster.
1:00 - 2:00 Time to put the learning all together in a RIDE!
2:00 - 3:00 Yoga by Sandra. Reflection time.
Date: Saturday June 16, 2018. 9:30 am - 3:00 pm. This event is weather dependent. You will be notified by email if the event is cancelled.
Location: Palgrave. Information about parking and meeting point will be provided by email to the event registrants.
Cost: Not free. Bring $20 cash . Limit of 10 people.
